    SMTA/CAVE Harsh Environment Electronics Workshop  +

    Call for participation: July 19-20 at the Crowne Plaza in Indianapolis

    Harsh Environment The SMTA and Auburn University are once again organizing a Harsh Environment Electronics Workshop based on the success of the three previous conferences. Conference chairman Dr. John Evans, Auburn University, and SMTA vice president of technical programs Dr. Ken Gilleo, ET Trends LLC, invite you to submit an abstract to participate in this exciting program. Harsh Environment The workshop will once again focus on harsh environments, and we are soliciting abstracts that will provide new and timely information to workshop attendees on the latest developments. The workshop format will allow a significant amount of time for interaction, questions, and answers.


    The workshop session for each topical area will begin with an overview followed by detailed presentations which describe state-of-the-art technology and future trends. Specific subject areas include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
  • Issues and Opportunities- Automotive Harsh Environment
  • Activities in Semiconductor Technology for Harsh Environment Electronics
  • Issues with Harsh Vehicle Systems
  • Substrate Advancements for Harsh Environment Electronics
