ZESTRON to Host IPC J-STD-001 Certified IPC Trainer Seminar
Manassas, VA - February 21, 2011 - ZESTRON will host an IPC J-STD-001 Certified IPC trainer seminar March 21-25, 2011, at its Technical and Analytical Center in Manassas, VA. This comprehensive technical training titled "IPC/EIA/JEDEC J-STD-001 Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies" will be conducted by Circuit Technology.
This particular standard has emerged as the pre-eminent authority for electronics assembly manufacturing and describes materials, methods and verification criteria for producing high quality soldered interconnections. It emphasizes process control and sets industry-consensus requirements for a broad range of electronic products.
The training is designed for assembly process engineers, quality assurance supervisors, training managers and others responsible for the quality and reliability of soldered electronic assemblies. Any company that uses J-STD-001 or is considering its adoption can use the program to address the training requirement identified in the standard.
