Micro Dynamics & Win Wood Receive 2005 Tenke AwardsHonoring leaders in Minnesota technology industries
Micro Dynamics Corporation was named the emerging company recipient in the advanced manufacturing category at the 2005 Tekne Awards held at the Minneapolis Convention Center on November 10. Additionally, Win Wood, vice president of strategic programs, was the winner in the emerging leadership award. The Tekne Awards recognize Minnesota's outstanding technology achievements and leaders.

Micro Dynamics and Win Wood were recognized for the company's continued compound annual growth rate of over 20%. Tekne judges noted the company's ability to build over 2000 assemblies for customers in medical, industrial, telecom, computing and military/aerospace markets. Win Wood was recognized for his customer focused approach and putting people first management.

The keynote address at this year's Tekne Awards was given by Pat Toole, vice president, business transformation for IBM.
