MACK Technologies Announces New Acquisition141,000 sq. ft. Facility in Melbourne, Florida
MACK Technologies announced the acquisition of their previously leased facility in Melbourne, FL. Since October 2002, MACK has been utilizing the Melbourne site for manufacturing after Solectron, the business previously located at that facility, was purchased by MACK Technologies, Inc.
| The 141,000 sq. ft. facility in Melbourne, FL, has an extensive history of providing highly technical contract manufacturing services to both local and remote customers. This site has extensive capabilities in RF/wireless manufacturing and test development. |
"We have been extremely pleased with the Melbourne operation and have discovered plentiful opportunity in the Southeastern United States," said John Kovach, president of MACK Technologies. "The building was purchased by MACK with company cash reserves, indicating our commitment to customers within the region, our employees, and the local community," added Mr. Kovach.

Moreover, MACK Technologies is continuing to grow and invest in both its human and systems resources within the Melbourne facility. The Shop Floor Control System (SFDM), DFM (Valor Trilogy) and DFT (Strategist) have all been rolled out to assist in manufacturing high-quality customer products.
AOI, XRAY and ESS capabilities have also been added along with many other equipment updates. "The workforce has grown by 30%, and our employees now know we are there to stay," commented Heather Bushey, director of human resources.
