Maintain primary responsibility of the company’s sales activities and strategically align the department with the President’s goals for the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals Manage the overall sales process, direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly Review market analyses to determine customer needs Responsible for hiring, development, establishing goals and holding sales staff accountable for the outcome of their goals Meet with current clients and work in conjunction with the internal team to expand existing accounts Create and maintain reporting on sales activities, effectiveness and business impact Attend conferences, meetings and industry events Analyze and control expenditures of the department to conform to budgetary requirements Manage relationships with outside rep firms and make changes as needed to align with the organization’s sales strategy Work in collaboration with the Materials Manager and the quoting department to develop competitive quotes and construct client proposals Qualifications SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree preferred, MBA is a plus 5-7 years of sales management experience Prior experience leading a sales team is required Prior experience in outsides business-to-business (B2B) sales is required Prior experience working with an electronics manufacturing services (EMS) company is preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills, professional disposition and strong managerial skills Proven track record of sustained success including growing both top and bottom line Prior experience working in a customer resource management (CRM) system, experience with HubSpot is a plus Prior experience working in an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, experience with ManFact is a plus Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Ability to multi-task under tight deadlines with changing priorities and schedules Energetic, self-starter with the ability to initiate creative solutions
This position manages all employees within the sales department and is responsible for the performance management and training of these employees.
Ability to travel domestically when required.
