· Perform set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies. · Assist in producing test specifications, methods, and work instructions. · Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems. As required, recommends solutions to technical problems. May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment. · Services electronic equipment, circuit modules, printed circuit boards, and similar electronic devices. · Work with operators on standard operating procedures and requirements for working safely. · Help maintains company-required performance and maintenance records for electronic and electrical equipment. · Works on assignments that are routine in nature where limited judgment is required. Normally receives detailed instructions on all work. Qualifications o Ability to read drawings and use common test instruments. o AS degree, military-technical training or their equivalent vocational training is required. o Able to solder SMT and PTH boards. o Troubleshooting of high wattage switching power supplies, a plus. o Has basic Windows PC skills. o 1-3 years in testing with an electronics manufacturing company is helpful; o May require standing and walking for long periods of time; occasional lifting up to 30 lbs. o Has attention to detail.
