My client company is a growing Electronics Manufacturing Services provider that has me on retainer to help them fill an urgent need to hire a Vice President of Operations. This position will be at their manufacturing facility that is located in a low cost of living rural area in the Mid-Atlantic Region. This financially strong company has been in business for over twenty-five years and have never had one layoff of employees! They are on track to grow 20% in the next year, are debt free, own their buildings, equipment, and the surrounding land with plenty of room to expand. The person in the role of Vice President of Operations will be responsible for the operations area within this electronics manufacturing facility. You will provide direction to a team of managers, engineers, and technicians who design, manufacture, and test PCBAs and full system builds for products in the industrial, consumer, and defense markets. Other duties will include reviewing processes to reduce engineering costs, developing test procedures to focus on product quality, and providing support for the manufacturing lines.

Ten (10) years of hands-on operations experience in electronics manufacturing. Minimum of Bachelor’s degree is mandatory. Strong technical understanding of electronic assemblies including design, test, printed circuit board assembly, and full system integration. Proven leadership experience managing a team in an electronics manufacturing operations facility. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
