Position Overview: To purchase materials in the most cost effective way possible and to meet customer deadlines.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Solicit RFQ’s from vendors
  • Manage inventory items in software
  • Create Bill of Materials (BOM’s) provided by customers
  • Issue Purchase orders to vendors
  • Maintain inventory counts
  • Ensure all material costs are associated with the correct job
  • Issue Materials to jobs
  • Maintain revision levels in software
  • Process vendor RMA’s
  • Process material requisitions from production staff
  • All other duties as assigned


  • Experienced in communicating and working with vendors
  • Familiar with electronic assembly production
  • Understanding of how job functions interact with accounting

    Other Skills/Abilities:

  • General computer skills
  • Experienced with Excel and Word
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of staff
  • Ability to work well with others
  • SAP Experience a plus
