What does SMTA mean to your company?
Altek wouldn't be the company it is today without the SMTA. Back in 2005 we attended a chapter meeting on RoHS compliance, and while networking during the meeting, landed a large customer we are still doing business with today. In addition to helping us grow our business, that educational session helped us develop a robust process for RoHS compliance. Over the years our team members have honed their leadership skills through volunteer opportunities with SMTA, we have improved our manufacturing skills and processes by attending educational sessions, and we have formed lifetime friendships with other SMTA members. The large network of experts who belong to the SMTA is like having a team of process engineers in our back pocket. Reflecting on all the ways our SMTA membership has benefited us, we enthusiastically recommend membership!
