    About The Presenter
    Ian Wilding has worked within the electronics industry since graduating with BSc Chemistry in 1996. Experience includes working for ten years in the research and development laboratories of Multicore Solders and HENKEL KGaA & Co concentrating on VOC free liquid fluxes, lead free solder pastes, conformal coatings and potting materials. He has presented a number of papers on lead free, VOC free and electronics reliability to industry forums globally, has had papers published in industry journals, and is a patent holder for the HENKEL lead free solder paste flux technology. He has also acted a technical resource for a range of multinational electronics manufacturers focusing on implementing new technologies, process improvements and understanding the implications of pending legislation. His current position is managing a product development team within HENKEL focusing on developing the next generation and revolutionary new ideas with regards to solder materials.
