Abstract: A cost effective design for sequential bit-error-rate(BER) testing of 12-channel asynchronous parallel fiber optic data links using a Bit Rate Multiplier Tester and Transceiver Test Fixtures interfaced to a PLC controlled RF DEMUX/MUX.

This paper describes a novel cost effective design for sequential BER Testing of AC 12-Channel Asynchronous Parallel Fiber Optic Data Links using a BRM-64 Bit Rate Multiplier Tester interfaced to Transmitter and Receiver Test Boards.
