It focuses on the commercial & industrial sector of electronics and hardware reliability. It provides a perspective on how a Reliability Engineer can be functionally defined, what are the skills required, and where and how these skills can be obtained and maintained. It sketches the logical progression of Reliability Engineering education and its potential sources, and emphasizes the lifelong commitment toward high competence and proficiency.
