Abstract: 3M Electronic Grade Conformal Coating is a clear, low viscosity, low surface tension solution of a fluorochemical polymer carried in a 3M Novec solvent. It can be applied by dipping, spraying, or syringe dispensing onto PCB boards and electronic components that dry to form thin, transparent film to protect against moisture, oil, dirt, smudge, corrosion and contamination. 3M Novec Solvent is nonflammable, none ozone-depleting, low global warming, and RoHS compliant. 3M offers a family of easy-to-apply, protective coatings designed to maintain optimal performance and reliability in a broad range of electronic applications.
