Abstract: This short study looks at two ways of storing boards to avoid moisture uptake and four relative humidity conditions under which moisture was absorbed/adsorbed. Three board materials were used, FR4 and two halogen free board materials. A continually nitrogen purged cabinet is more effective than a dry cabinet, but could be more expensive in the long term. More moisture was sequestered by the boards at higher humidity levels.
