Abstract: This paper sets forth the application of continuous process improvement for initiating, diagnosing, and establishing change in today’s organization. The article argues that the survival and growth of organizations in an increasingly turbulent environment depends upon successfully performing continuous process improvement for aligning the organizational structure with environmental preferences for creating symbiotic interorganizational structures. This article will identify seven key steps to successfully performing continuous process improvement in today’s organization.
